I had the privilege of being invited to spend a couple of days at Clove tree hill boutique mountain villas in Tabanan this past weekend. Situated on the slopes of Batukaru Mountain in the Tabanan regency in Bali  Talk about first impressions, this wonderful hidden gem in Tabanan is one of a kind. From the drive up to the property to the day I drove back down, everything was magical. From the moment you arrive you greeted with a huge smile by the wonderful resort manager Dian, and her staff where they make you feel right at home. Welcome drink in hand, taking in the incredible views from the restaurant – and by views, I mean VIEWS! The resort Is located in a remote part of the island, where its still very untouched. This is where you can and will experience the true essence of Bali, the cascading rice paddy views, the coconut trees, palm trees, bird life, and just be submerged in wonderful quiet nature. It’s truly one of the most relaxing places I’ve visited Dian showed us around the stunning resort, from luxury accommodation settings, to a yoga Shala, a beautiful opened air massage area and off course the stunning waterfall they have located steps away from the resort. The accommodation is something spectacular, the rooms are clean, well decorated, and comes with the most gorgeous views and sounds of nature. Each of the wooden bungalows comes with a beautiful open aired bathroom, mini fridge (stocked with all the favourites), big king size bed and may I just add COMFORTABLE beds, a patio and seating area to take in all the nature and magic of the mountains and views all the way to the ocean I booked a Balinese massage and reflexology, where I was absolutely pampered, by an experienced massage therapist. Listening to the sounds of the waterfall and river in the background to the rustling trees in the smooth breeze to falling asleep I was so relaxed. Absolutely a memorable experience I will never forget.   The dining at their private restaurant was such great quality, from western to local dishes on offer, there is something for everyone. The resort offers guests a variety of excursions -          Balinese Cultural workshops -          Day strips to all the amazing spots in the area -          Waterfalls -          Treks for hiking or walking -          Fishing -          Day trips and kid’s activities There is truly something for everyone, from couples to families.
